Recordings
- This course is for attorneys who want to write the LPC's Conveyancing Examination.
- Fees are applicable to delegates residing in South Africa. Kindly contact us for a quotation should you be registering from a neighbouring country to provide for additional courier costs.
- If you have not received confirmation from us within two work days after registration, it might mean that something went wrong with the registration. In such a case, please confirm your registration with us.
- No course material will be supplied or registration confirmed until full payment is received.
- No instalments or down payments are accepted.
- After you have received your notes, follow the instructions in your confirmation letter which will be sent with the notes (or via email), to request your login details.
- LIMITED ACCESS: Access to the recordings is restricted to 9 weeks. Your login details expire strictly 9 weeks after you login for the first time.
- The course consists of 14 videos (±2½ hours per video).
- You have 2 views for each video.
- Recordings expire at the end of an examination cycle (usually after the second exam in a particular year). New recordings are available in conjunction with updated notes and lectures. A new edition (usually at the beginning of the year) necessitates new recordings and can only be made available after the first online lectures of the year.
- Study material will -
- be sent to your nearest PostNet branch and ready for collection 2-5 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed; or
- be ready for collection at our office 1-2 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed.
- Course material that has been opened will not be accepted for a refund or exchanged for material in the other language.
- Updates to the notes are available annually and can be ordered if you are the original purchaser of the notes.
- Existing clients can purchase Recordings if you are the original purchaser of the Conveyancing Course material and if you have the latest update(s) to the notes.
- In the case of cancellation by you, a cancellation fee of R590 and the fee for the Self-Study Course will be deducted from the registration amount paid.
- All rights on course material, lectures and recordings are reserved under the Berne Convention. According to the Copyright Act, No. 98 of 1978 no part of the course material, lectures or recordings may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior permission in writing from Gawie le Roux Institute of Law.
Online Lectures
- This course is for attorneys who want to write the LPC's Conveyancing Examination.
- Fees are applicable to delegates residing in South Africa. Kindly contact us for a quotation should you be registering from a neighbouring country to provide for additional courier costs.
- Registrations strictly close one week before commencement of a course to allow sufficient time for course material to be delivered.
- If you have not received confirmation from us within two work days after registration, it might mean that something went wrong with the registration. In such a case, please confirm your registration with us.
- No course material will be supplied or registration confirmed until full payment is received.
- No instalments or down payments are accepted.
- Study material will -
- be sent to your nearest PostNet branch and ready for collection 2-5 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed; or
- be ready for collection at our office 1-2 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed.
- Course material that has been opened will not be accepted for a refund or exchanged for material in the other language.
- Registration for online lectures can be postponed, in which case the cost for updates to the course material will be compulsory.
- In the case of cancellation by you, a cancellation fee of R590 and the fee for the Self-Study Course will be deducted from the registration amount paid.
- If you miss a lecture or part of a lecture, you can -
- join that part of the lecture the next time the course is presented; or
- receive the recording for that session, up to a maximum of 3 sessions (i.e. 3 out of the total of 7 sessions).
- If you see that you might miss more than 3 out of the 7 sessions, you can switch over from Online Lectures to Recordings (an additional fee might be applicable). Please contact us to arrange the above.
- Existing clients can register for online lectures if you are the original purchaser of the Conveyancing Course material and if you have the latest update(s) to the notes.
- Updates to the notes are available annually and can be ordered if you are the original purchaser of the notes.
- The Gawie le Roux Institute of Law reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient entries are received, or for any other reason whatsoever. In such a case, and if your notes have already been dispatched, your registration fee minus the fee for the Self-Study Course will be refunded.
