Recordings
- This course is for attorneys who want to write the LPC's Attorneys' Admission Examinations.
- If you have not received confirmation from us within two work days after registration, it might mean that something went wrong with the registration. In such a case, please confirm your registration with us.
- No course material will be supplied or registration confirmed until full payment is received.
- No instalments or down payments are accepted.
- After you have received your notes, follow the instructions in your confirmation letter which will be sent with the notes (or via email), to request your login details.
- LIMITED ACCESS: Access to the recordings is restricted to 3 weeks per Paper. Your login details expire strictly 3 weeks after you log in for the first time (that is, 3 weeks per Paper).
- The course consists of 4 videos per Paper (±2½ hours per video).
- You have 3 views for each video.
- Recordings expire at the end of an examination cycle. New recordings are available in conjunction with updated notes and lectures. A new edition of the notes necessitates new recordings and can only be made available after the first Zoom lectures of the cycle.
- Updated recordings will be available in February 2025.
- Study material expires at the end of an examination cycle. The updated notes will be available once the previous exam's memorandum has been incorporated.
- Study material will -
- be sent to your nearest PostNet branch and ready for collection 2-5 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed; or
- be ready for collection at our office 1-2 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed.
- Course material that has been opened will not be accepted for a refund or exchanged for material in the other language.
- Existing clients can purchase Recordings if you are the original purchaser and have the latest version of the course material.
- In the case of cancellation by you, a cancellation fee of R150 per paper will be deducted.
- When using a discount code, the discount must be used upon checkout on the course registration page. The discount will not be refunded later if it is not used.
- All rights on course material, lectures and recordings are reserved under the Berne Convention. According to the Copyright Act, No. 98 of 1978 no part of the course material, lectures or recordings may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior permission in writing from Gawie le Roux Institute of Law.
Zoom lectures
- This course is for attorneys who want to write the LPC's Attorneys' Admission Examinations.
- Registrations strictly close one week before commencement of a course to allow sufficient time for course material to be delivered.
- If you have not received confirmation from us within two work days after registration, it might mean that something went wrong with the registration. In such a case, please confirm your registration with us.
- No course material will be supplied or registration confirmed until full payment is received.
- No instalments or down payments are accepted.
- Study material expires at the end of an examination cycle. The updated notes will be available once the previous exam's memorandum has been incorporated.
- Updated study notes will be available in January 2025.
- Study material will -
- be sent to your nearest PostNet branch and ready for collection 2-5 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed; or
- be ready for collection at our office 1-2 work days after full payment is received and your registration is processed.
- Course material that has been opened will not be accepted for a refund or exchanged for material in the other language.
- Registration for Zoom lectures can be postponed.
- In the case of cancellation by you, a cancellation fee of R150 per paper will be deducted.
- If you miss a lecture or part of a lecture, you can -
- join that part of the lecture the next time the course is presented; or
- receive the recording for that session.
- You can switch over from Zoom lectures to recordings (an additional fee might be applicable). Please contact us to arrange the above.
- Existing clients can register for Zoom lectures if you are the original purchaser and have the latest version of the course material.
- The Gawie le Roux Institute of Law reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient entries are received, or for any other reason whatsoever. In such a case, and if your notes have already been dispatched, your registration fee minus the fee for the Self-Study Course will be refunded.
