Law articles are when you do a law internship at a registered legal firm after completing your LLB degree. It usually takes 2 years to complete. During this time, you will work under the supervision of a registered attorney.

Doing your law articles is a necessary step of becoming an attorney in South Africa. While doing your articles, you may also write your board exams.

Preparing for your board exams should not be taken lightly. Start preparing as soon as you start with your law articles.
