Attorneys' admission exam workshop: Paper 3

How to approach the "ethics" paper

This notes-driven workshop will help you prepare for the challenging ethics paper, especially if you are attempting this paper again or you are unsure of what to expect from this paper.  You will have an opportunity to engage with the lecturer and ask questions.

This workshop is for you if you want to go through the March 2024 exam paper with the guidance of a lecturer and together in a group so that you have final confirmation that you are sufficiently prepared.

Workshop content

The lecturer will discuss the principles of how to answer questions with a focus on the March 2024 exam paper.  He will discuss where in our notes you might find the information and how to interpret that information during the exam.

Who will benefit from this workshop?
  • If you are one of our students.  That means you have either purchased our notes, or attended the Attorneys' admission exam course for Paper 3.
  • If you are not one of our students for this paper yet, you will only benefit from this workshop by either attending the next Attorneys' admission exam course for Paper 3, or purchasing the notes.  You can register for the exam preparation course here where you can choose between Zoom lectures, recordings, or self-study.
  • This workshop relies heavily on our exam preparation notes – without it, you may find the workshop of less value.
  • This workshop is not an alternative to the exam preparation course/notes, it is an additional confidence-boosting tool.
The logistics
  • The workshop will be presented via Zoom on 25 July or 8 August from 08:00-12:00.
  • The workshop will also be available as a recording, but online attendance is recommended.  Recordings will be available 3 working days after the first presentation.  You will have 2 views per video.
  • The fee of R390 included a short set of notes that will be sent in PDF-format a few days before the presentation.
